New International Trade Fair for Renewable Energy and Passive Houses
RENEXPO® Austria 2009, 26. – 28.11.2009, Trade Fair Center Salzburg , Austria
The interest in renewable energy as a vital part of future energy supplies has grown steadily in the past few years. The REECO Group, trade fair and congress organizer, with its headquarters in Germany has also recognized that the advancement and further spread of this type of energy is a task for Europe as a whole. After successfully executing trade fairs and conferences dealing with the topics of renewable energy and energy-efficient construction and renovation in Germany and in Central and Southern Europe, REECO would also like to establish itself in Austria .
Next year, from 26th – 28th November, the RENEXPO® Austria, International Trade Fair for Renewable Energy and Passive Houses will take place for the first time at the Trade Fair Center Salzburg. The conference, organized in corporation with Trade Fair Salzburg, will display the entire spectrum of renewable energies and energy-efficient construction and renovation. The emphasis of this fair will be bioenergy and passive house.
The Federal State of Salzburg is among the most dynamic economic regions in Europe and has assumed a top position in Austria for many years. Furthermore, a European-wide location ranking shows that Salzburg is among the best locations for innovation, which makes the trade fair site in Austria especially attractive. It is no wonder that the Trade Fair Center Austria, which with 400,000 visitors and 34 trade fairs a year has established itself as a leader in Austria , was chosen as the venue for RENEXPO® Austria . The city of Salzburg also has a lot to offer tourists, as the old city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Nearly 100 exhibitors from the fields of production, planning, and energy supply, as well as experts from research and development, associations, media, governmental agencies, and administrations are expected to attend. They will present their products, services, and latest innovations to an estimated 4000 visitors.
High-ranking conferences will also take place during the three trade fair days. Here, nearly 500 conference participants as well as political and economic experts, associations, media and the actual users will gather to gain current information about the field, research, and development. .
REECO’s trade fairs traditionally strengthen their international orientation with the partner country presentation. For the premiere of RENEXPO® Austria 2009, the partner country will be the German Federal State of Bavaria. Additionally, strong network partners will support the fair. The Chamber of Commerce in Salzburg has already vowed its support.
Project manager Diana Roehm says: I am very excited about being able to lead the projects for future international trade fairs for renewable energy and passive house in Austria . In addition to several interesting and innovative topics such as energy efficiency, the use of renewable energy, increasing energy supply assurance as well as creating value for energy technology products, I am sure that Salzburg will offer numerous tourist and cultural attractions. And as a result, national and international specialists as well as international visitors and exhibitors will be allured to the location.
